Méthode et Abstraction ;  Pixels as ARCHITECTURE - 2021

"Pixels as Architecture" presents an exploration of the cybernetic concept by generating architectural plans based on the pixels of an image. Through the use of simple computer tools to abstract and subtract certain pixels, an architecture reveals itself. When pixels are removed, spatiality emerges. The project aims to develop a simple system that can generate architectural plans with minimal human intervention. Using a referential image, in this case, the first high-resolution numeric image of Mars, the resulting architectural plans are non-referential, representing an abstraction of the original image.
